About Chief Architect
This website is primarily a forum for airing views on a range of management topics generally and enterprise architecture more specifically. The views expressed in this site are personal and do not reflect the beliefs or opinions of the organizations to which the authors belong or are affiliated to.
The blog was previously known as "Management Rants" and was hosted on Blogger. We decided that a more capable hosting environment would make the information more accessible and a more grown up name was also in order.
The lead author is 
Alan Inglis . He has worked an enterprise architect and senior IT manager for both end user companies and consultancies always operating on the boundary between the business and IT. His industry experience covers retail, financial services and utilities. His background in IT includes development, support, infrastructure and project management. This breadth of experience informs the insights and anecdotes published on this site.
